Shank Interview and Demo

Let's face it. Everything is polygonal these days. Even so called cel shaded games like Wind Waker are just cleverly depicted 3D models. I've got nothing against polygons, but when I see the crisp, clean lines of traditional animation show up in a modern game, it gets my attention. It is something that Behemoth has excelled at in the past, and now there is a new game that looks like it is raising the bar even further. That game is Shank, and you can look for it this Summer on PSN, XBLA, and PC.

Limbo Interview at PAX East

Limbo was a game interesting enough to earn itself a chunk of our precious media exclusive hour on the PAX show floor. Dedicated followers of the site will note we had a hands on article up within hours of playing it. Fortunately, we were able to speak with the producer Mads Wibroe while we played, since I for one wasn't willing to put the controller down.

Split Second Interview at PAX East

When I saw the Disney booth at PAX this year, I must stay I was expecting to see the latest movie tie in. Imagine my surprise, then when I saw what they had on display. Split Second is an entirely new IP, and arcade racer with emphasis on speed and explosions. Imagine if San Francisco Rush was directed by Michael Bay. We spent some time playing it and talked about what this game has to offer.

Ska Studios Interview at PAX East

When it comes to Indie Development on the Xbox 360, you can't talk about it seriously without bringing up Ska Studios and its principle member, James Silva. Responsible for XBLA title Dishwasher Dead Samurai and a community game that, according to the title, has zombies in it, Ska Studios has had strong showings on Xbox Live in all of its many forms. He took a moment to talk to us about what it is like to develop for the Xbox, and what he's got in store for us.
