The second installment (and hopefully many more) of DreamCast ports, Crazy Taxi, is coming out November 23rd (PSN) and 24th (XBLA). The bigger piece of news is that SEGA didn’t just slap the same game in this time, but instead the game will be rendered at 720p with a full 16:9 aspect ration. Say goodbye to those pesky pillar-boxes! Really happy to hear that the second port fixed one of the gripes we had with the Sonic Adventures port. As a DreamCast fan, I’m stoked to see these classic titles making a come back.
So in summary: $10 USD with Achievement/Trophy Support and remastered visuals to take advantage of today’s hardware. Personally, I am a fan of this trend. Hopefully sales do well to convince SEGA to continue bringing back the classics.
